Thanksgiving Day

We were blessed with beautiful weather for Thanksgiving Day.

Steve G

Steve G led our morning service of thanksgiving with the Bishop of Lewes speaking about healing.

Everyone attending enjoyed a ploughmans lunch at tables dotted around the grounds before viewing various displays and bookstalls.

In the afternoon we gathered in the Chapel to hear how God had been at work at the Healing Centre. Martin Granger (Chair of Trustees) encouraged and challenged us to share the healing of Jesus any which way we can. Steve C explained how the Chaplains and Trustees were focusing on a journey of repentance, individually and for the Centre. Penny and Steve shared some of the vision for the future of the Centre which includes prayer rooms, mission and use of the internet. People were then invited to share testimonies of God's healing touch.

The afternoon finished as people laid thanksgiving stones on the cairn and enjoyed tea, coffee and home-baked cake.Cakes
