Accommodation and Facilities
Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre is open most days of the year and you are very welcome to book in for a few days to enjoy the presence of the Lord here – which includes our warm hospitality, delicious food and acres of space.
There are 19 comfortable bedrooms, six of which are twin-bedded. Most of the rooms are south-facing with good views of the gardens and surroundings. Most of the rooms have en-suite facilities, and the remainder are situated close to a bath or shower room.
Eight of the rooms are on the ground floor, including two with walk in showers. There is also a large wet room. Please see our `ease of access` information.
All bed-linen and towels are provided, and tea and coffee-making facilities are provided in each room.
There is a large fully equipped art room, a spacious and comfortable lounge overlooking the garden, a dining room, a quiet lounge stocked with Christian books, an art room and ground floor cloakroom facilities.
Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre has two chapels. The Chapel of Christ`s Glory, built in 1966, has space for 70 people and is used for the regular healing services. The Chapel of Christ`s Suffering, which dates back to the earliest days of the Healing Centre, is frequently used for daily services.
The house is set in attractive gardens with views of the surrounding fields and woodlands, and a large natural fishpond. It features a beautiful prayer walk with scriptures to aid meditation and reflection.
All accommodation is full board. Meals are freshly prepared on site and include a varied choice. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated by prior arrangement.
There is on-site space for parking up to 20 cars with additional temporary parking space at busy times such as healing services.
Mobile Phones: We ask that you switch your mobile to silent while in the house and chapel, for the sake of our other guests. There is a designated area to use mobiles within the house.
There is Wi-Fi available in the Lounge - please ask for the access code on arrival.
Please note: We are unable to provide personal or health care and if at booking we learnt that a guest would need a carer they would need to provide one themselves – at a reduced rate. When we hold events for groups and churches, the house maybe closed to anyone else staying who is not part of the group or church.
If there are occasions when we believe our facilities and resources would not meet the needs of a guest then we would recommend alternative options, if possible.
We reserve the right to decline a booking if we believe our facilities and resources would not meet the needs of the person or if the person could not be accommodated safely.
